“The Meze 12 Classics V2 successfully combines audio technology and build quality with modern craftsmanship. Its soft curves and dark, mysterious body inspire a complete sensorial experience that will ravish your whole being.” Says Meze Audio on the product page.
“The walnut wood and copper-anodized aluminum body was designed as if the two materials co-evolved, translating the very beauty of nature into a detailed, crisp, natural sound.” Looks very good that’s for sure, if you are a fan of wood shells on IEMs like me. Bronze color on the shell and on the connector makes a good combination with black wood and cable.
“The 8mm titanium coated driver reproduces clear, natural sound, offering a detailed, airy experience. By allowing all frequencies the space they need to reveal themselves, the 12 Classics V2 is an expression of musicality and realism.” I really wonder how the 12 Classics V2 sounds, if it has the sound signature of its bigger brothers. The asking price is 69$. As it seems ok from a company like Meze Audio, for a non-removable cable IEM, for me, still a bit on the higher side. I get it these are on-the-go type IEMs, but for some collectors out there this still is an important point.
