Shozy Magma is designed with a quad-driver tribrid configuration housing dual electrostatic drivers, a dynamic driver, and a balanced armature driver on each side. Two highly-resolving Electrostatic drivers from Sonion. Along with it, it has a custom-developed Dynamic driver unit and a high-performance balanced armature driver from Knowles.
The four drivers are arranged together in a 3-way high-precision crossover design. The 9.2mm dynamic driver here produces the lower-end response, while the Knowles BA unit provides the resolution for vocals and instruments. The dual EST drivers from Sonion here act as super tweeters for the ultra-high-frequency response.
Electrostatic drivers have now become a part of tribrid IEMs in the industry. They provide a good high-frequency response with ultimate detailing and clarity. Magma fully utilizes the dual EST drivers from Sonion.
Shozy Magma is assembled, build, and polished by hand. Each pair has its own unique texture and look with a color combination that matches its name, “Magma”. The internal acoustic cavity is designed with a high-precision 3D-printing process.
