Unboxing
MACHENIKE APP For Windows
The App is quite easy to use, has a nice UI, and most importantly uses very low system resources, only around 10MB RAM compared to around 200MB RAM of Razer’s.
Infinite Scroll
I used my last mouse for about 15 years! Yes, you heard it right, it was the Logitech G9 Lazer mouse.
And I was very happy with it, don’t get me wrong it still works, I needed a click switch repair about 5 years ago and everything was fine. So when I decided to buy a new mouse for myself there was one feature that I knew I couldn’t live without, the “infinite scroll”. Some call it fast scroll and some hyper scroll, it basically allows you to scroll without stops and it is the best mouse feature if you are spending many hours in front of your PC for creativity or just browsing the web.
First I bought the Logitech G G502 X PLUS as a successor for the next decade, although I did not like the design, it’s a gaming mouse too but with too many buttons for my taste and a poor RGB design. But the reason I returned it was not of these. It was the click sound. The left and right clicks sounded so bad, so cheap, and kind of loud, just wasn’t as premium as its price.
Later I started to search for other brands which has a scroll like Logitech and you may guess there aren’t many. Some Logitech models, some Razer models, and a couple of Chinese brands. I thought in the past 15 years this feature would become mainstream but it did not. I blame the gamers for this, they are the least to benefit from this feature, they need to choose their guns in classic style, a scroll wheel with steps.
Daily Use and Ergonomics
The MACHENIKE L8Pro has a good volume in the hand. It’s not as bulky as Logitech’s G502 Plus or Razer Basilisk V3 Pro. It’s light enough (83 gr) for the finger grip style. Compared to the Logitech G502 X Plus’s 100 gr and Basilisk V3 Pro’s 110 gr, the difference is not small, making the L8Pro more gaming-friendly.
Sum-Up
The MACHENIKE L8Pro is undoubtedly one of the best hybrid mouse. Whether you want to game or use the same mouse for productivity or even simpler tasks, its infinite scroll feature is the strongest weapon, of course. The only con I can think of is its build quality, but the asking price of $60 for a tri-mode 8K mouse justifies this easily.
