The latest portable USD DAC-AMP from iBasso, the DC05, has Dual DAC chipset with two ES9219C ESS Sabre DAC chips. iBasso has integrated their latest Quad DAC+ technology in the DC05 combined with dynamic range enhancement. DC05 delivers quality performance with its latest HyperStream III architecture achieving a high-dynamic range of up to 121dB and low THD+N ratings of <0.00056%. Also supports MQA up to 16x unfold.
iBasso DC05 has the same DAC configuration that is featured in many famous audio players and decoders including the latest Shanling M3X. DC05 features Time Domain Jitter Eliminator and Hyper Stream III architecture.
iBasso DC05 has a single-ended 3.5mm headphone output port with an ultra-low impedance rating of less than 0.5Ω. It provides up to 140mW of clean power @ 16Ω of load. Even at 32Ω of load, the DC05 outputs up to 93mW of power.
iBasso has developed a custom volume control application that uses the latest UAC2.0 USB protocol to enable 64-step volume control by a connected source device. This allows the users to use both sensitive as well as demanding earphones/headphones with the DC05.
