Cayin has officially launched its latest flagship DAP (digital audio player), the Cayin N8ii.
Cayin N8ii houses a Dual DAC chipset featuring two ROHM BD34301 DAC chips (one for each channel). It is a 32-Bit stereo DAC chipset. Also has balanced tube headphone amplification thanks to the dual KORG Nutube 6P1 tubes with balanced 4.4mm termination. Cayin has designed the N8ii with a fully-discrete audio circuitry for best performance. The amp section in the Cayin N8ii has dual operational modes, Class A and Class AB. It also has dual output modes, Standard P mode, and high-power P+ mode. The high-power P+ mode is ideally designed for high-power requiring headphones. Do note that the High P+ gain mode on tube amplification is available only on the Class AB mode.
Cayin N8ii supports countless media applications available for users on the Android Play store. The device comes loaded with Android 9.0 OS. Cayin has designed the N8ii with an Octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC with 6GB for a smooth and snappy user interface. N8ii also has DTA (Direct Transfer Architecture) that allows the users to enjoy Hi-Res audio across different applications on the device.
Cayin has featured both single-ended as well as balanced headphone and line-out connection support with the N8ii. It has 3.5mm single-ended as well as 4.4mm balanced headphone output ports. There is a separate Line-out port for single-ended connections, although the N8ii has a single balanced 4.4mm port for both headphone output and line-out.
Cayin N8ii houses a super huge 10,000mAh battery. It has a battery life of up to 11 hours while using it with a single-ended connection. With Tube-Amp mode, it supports up to 10 hours of continuous music playback. It also supports QC3.0 fast charging.
With the latest-gen ROHM Dual DAC chipset, the N8ii also has better parameters for Hi-Res audio decoding. It has also got a bigger and better display (5″ OLED display) compared to the original N8.
Apart from all these features, Cayin N8ii has all the latest features such as Hi-Res Wireless Bluetooth support bright OLED display, Dual-band Wifi, and many more.
